Who are Foresters Brass?
Foresters Brass, located in Leicester, are a well established band supported by the Foresters Friendly Society.
Foresters Brass is based in Leicester and draws players from around the Midlands.
The band can trace its roots back to 1902, forming as the ‘Bread Street Mission Band’. Via several other guises, including The Leicestershire Constabulary Band and the Leicester Home Guard Band, the band began its association with The Foresters Friendly Society in 1957, which is thought to be the longest unbroken sponsorship of any brass band in the country.

Foresters Brass are proud to be sponsored by Foresters Friendly Society. This sponsorship has been running since 1957, and is thought to be the longest running sponsorship of any Brass Band in the World.
Foresters Friendly Society offer a wide range of financial services and play a huge part in supporting charities throughout the country. This year the chosen charity is the Air Ambulance. As Foresters Brass perform annually for different courts all over the country, we are proud to help support these charities with concerts and performances for Foresters fundraising events
